Charlotte Kahn, President / People Advocate
Charlotte began her career life as a barber; she is the granddaughter and niece of small-town barber shop owners. Little did she realize at the time – working and managing in this humble, family trade, would well equip her to be the third and current President of our company.
When Charlotte joined our team in April of 1999, she executed payroll, and provided direct support to our team in every way she could be of service. The passion Charlotte has for people, is the reason she retains both the title and responsibility for serving as our People Advocate.
Her primary role today is as Integrator for our Leadership Team. She leads, manages, and hold each of us individually accountable to our values and our core focus. She is the steady force in our organization, creating clarity, consistency, and serving as the tiebreaker for our Leadership Team.
We are fortunate to have her steady head, and her limitless heart, advocating for our partners each and every day.
Josh Kahn, Visionary / CFO
Josh literally grew up in the air conditioning business. He is Past President of the Texas Air Conditioning Contractors of America and the Community Services Foundation, and has served on the Board of Directors for Dallas Habitat for Humanity, the North Texas Chapter Air Conditioning Contractors of America, as well as numerous State and local industry related technician training and certification committees. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Governors for the Oncor Energy Air Conditioning Installation Market Transformation Program. Josh holds a Texas Air Conditioning Contractors license.
Alex Dickey, Service Operations Leader
Alex earned a BA from the University of New Haven and an MBA from Texas A&M-Commerce. He joined Kahn Mechanical in 2016 as a Project Superintendent and saw several projects to successful completion. In 2019 he became Service Group Leader.
Construction Operations Leader
Justin started his professional journey in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Machinist’s Mate. After 10+ years of military service, he completed his engineering degree. Following that, Justin started in mechanical contracting as an estimator, and then moved into operations. He quickly worked his way from Project Engineer up to Project Manager, and after a short stint with a local General Contractor, Justin joined Kahn Mechanical in January of 2016
James Jernigan, Construction
James joined our team in March of 2009. James has extensive experience in employee supervision, project management, and is NICET certified in Construction Technology. He works diligently to coordinate efforts between Kahn Mechanical employees, our customers, and our subcontractors to meet project demands and to assure quality workmanship.
Brian Limbaugh, Large Construction Superintendent
Brian Limbaugh has worked with us since 1990 and is one of our longest-term partners. He has held many roles in our company over his tenure, and currently directs field work as Large Construction Superintendent. Brian has a keen eye for installing systems which work properly, look beautiful to any observer, and are installed with life cycle serviceability and longevity as the end goal. He sets the bar high for the team he leads.
Brian loves the outdoors and is an avid fisherman. If the weather is nice you will always find him on a lake, followed shortly by a family fish fry. He lives with a Servant’s Heart, always considering how he can provide for his family and the families around him. He has passion for animals and is a consistent supporter of the Forney Animal Shelter.
Adrian Murillo, Retrofit Superintendent
Adrian is another example of Company policy encouraging development of employee career paths. He joined Kahn Mechanical Team in 2005 as an installation helper and soon became a lead installer. He was named Special Projects Manager in 2019.
Dennis Brisbon, Service Sales / Warehouse Coordinator
Dennis has been with the Company since 1988. He is an example of Company policy which encourages development of career paths for our employees. Starting as a Helper, he soon proved his knowledge, skills, and leadership in the installation side of the business and moved to Lead Technician. From 2001-2018, he managed technical projects and directed our Service Technicians and in 2019 he became part of the Service Sales Team.
Mike Faulkner, Technical Career Path Coach
Mike started at Kahn Mechanical in 2015 as the Building Management Controls Systems Leader. He began his HVAC career in 1972 while attending high school, working at an air conditioning company performing commercial systems startups and service work. He founded Building Controls in 1988 and went on to work for a major HVAC/Controls manufacturer performing controls commissioning, controls upgrade, and service sales. In 2019 Mike was asked to share his wealth of knowledge with the entire Kahn Mechanical Team and became our Career Path Coach. He is responsible for moving employees along their own paths and helping them grow in the industry.
David Mansour, Human Resource Administrator / Assistant Estimator
David joined the Kahn team in April, 2011, bringing to our company a wealth of knowledge in production planning and operations. A graduate of UT Dallas, David has spent the bulk of his professional career in the textile industry. His purchasing skills provide a smooth transition from contract implementation to completion.
