Allan Adams is a seasoned operations executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, mechanical contracting, HVAC, and distribution environments. As Chief Operating Officer and Integrator, Allan is known for transforming complex business challenges into scalable, efficient, and profitable systems.
Throughout his career, Allan has spearheaded organizational turnarounds, launched successful startups, and optimized multi-million-dollar operations through strategic planning, lean practices, and cross-functional team alignment. His leadership style blends boots-on-the-ground operational insight with high-level strategic thinking, enabling companies to achieve measurable gains in productivity, customer satisfaction, and bottom-line performance.
A proven integrator and culture builder, Allan thrives on aligning people, processes, and priorities to drive sustained growth. His expertise spans sales leadership, process improvement, KPI implementation, ERP optimization, and full-cycle operational oversight.
Whether leading a fast-paced field service team or streamlining back-end logistics, Allan brings integrity, accountability, and a relentless focus on execution. Allan graduated from Illinois State University and is married with five kids and five amazing grandkids.
Charlotte began her career life as a barber; she is the granddaughter and niece of small-town barber shop owners. Little did she realize at the time – working and managing in a humble family-owned business would prepare her to be the third and current President of Kahn Mechanical.
When Charlotte joined our team in April of 1999, she executed payroll and provided direct support to our team in any way she could be of service. Her unwavering passion for people is the reason she retains both the title and responsibility for serving as our People Advocate.
Her primary role today is as Integrator for our Leadership Team. She leads, manages, and hold each of us individually accountable to our values and our core focus. She is the steady force in our organization, creating clarity, consistency, and direction for the entire organization.

Josh literally grew up in the air conditioning business. Kahn Mechanical Contractors was incorporated shortly before his 8th birthday. This provided Josh the opportunity to spend many adventurous summers knocking around our sheet metal shop – working with power tools, learning from technicians, and learning colorful new words. Josh was hired full-time in 1987. After initially managing the service side of Kahn Mechanical’s operations, he moved into construction for the next two decades. He now serves as our company CFO.
Josh formerly served as President of the Texas Air Conditioning Contractors of America and the Community Services Foundation. He has served on the Board of Directors for Dallas Habitat for Humanity, the North Texas Chapter Air Conditioning Contractors of America, and numerous industry technician training and certification committees. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Temple Emanu-El and invests considerable time serving on boards and committees which support family and spiritual nurturing. Josh is most passionate about his service to High Adventure Treks, an organization dedicated to growing relationships, communication, and leadership skills between fathers and their children.
Josh holds a Texas Air Conditioning Contractors license and a BBA from the University of Phoenix.
Rick Overall is a seasoned Operations Manager with deep expertise in HVAC systems, airflow, and design. With years of hands-on experience in the field, Rick combines technical precision with a practical, solutions-focused approach to every project. Whether it’s fine-tuning complex airflow systems or leading a team through high-stakes installations, Rick brings calm leadership and a commitment to doing things right the first time.
Known for his ability to de-escalate conflict and keep teams aligned under pressure, Rick’s leadership style is built on mutual respect, clear communication, and a steady focus on results.
Off the clock, Rick’s passion shifts from airflow to asphalt. A proud Harley enthusiast, he loves nothing more than hitting the open road and riding across America—where the journey is just as important as the destination. Whether in the shop, on the site, or behind the handlebars, Rick lives for challenges, craftsmanship, and the ride.
