RE: Keeping an Eye on Your Business 24 Hours
a DayThe Easy Way!
Dear Website Customer:
The HOT weather hit us hard and early
in 1998bringing back memories of the 50s to some and
1980 to many. As rates keep escalating, and we have just paid
some of our largest utility and mechanical service bills ever,
we felt it would be appropriate to discuss a subject we first
wrote about in 1993. So, here we go
HVAC and lighting systems have changed from
a luxury to a necessity. We believe that we cannot function without
them. These systems provide us with a level of comfort that allows
us to be productive and content in our indoor environment. The
price we pay for this modified environment has three basic elements:
installation of product, repair and maintenance, and utility
costs. We have discussed these three areas in the past,
but we seldom consider who is responsible 24 hours a day for the
proper management of our buildings electrical and mechanical
systems operation.
Nowadays, business owners are burdened with
higher percentage increases in utility and facility maintenance
costs than ever before. It is time to consider a manager for overseeing
the proper operation of these costly systems. Many facilities
cannot afford to dedicate the time of their existing staff to
this new task and have decided to place this job in the hands
of an electronic facility manager.
Facility management systems of the 90s
have come the way of the computer revolution. They are providing
more service for less cost than ever before. These facility
management systems can:
- save energy
- increase awareness of inoperable &
inefficient mechanical & electrical devices
- facilitate the troubleshooting of service
problems
- accumulate data for future system planning
- improve indoor environmental comfort
and much more. Not only do they perform
these tasks at a lower expense than a person can, they work at
this job nonstop, 24 hours a day, making adjustments as much as
a thousand (1,000) times a minute!
If you have interest in this type of system,
allow yourself to be surprised by the cost savings and features
you can obtain at a value that is within budget for any size facility.
Call me at (214) 631-1010 if we can provide further information
on this subject or demonstrate the features of a facility management
system. I will look forward to hearing from you!
Sincerely,
