Kahn Mechanical Contractors Wins Commercial Excellence Award

ARLINGTON, VA — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), the nation’s largest trade association of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) contractors, has announced the winner for the association’s 2005 Award for Excellence in Commercial Contracting.
Kahn Mechanical Contractors was presented the 2005 Commercial Excellence Award during ACCA’s 37th Annual Conference & Indoor Air Expo in Austin, Texas . Located in Dallas, Texas, Kahn Mechanical Contractors is a family owned and operated contracting business that has served the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area for more than 30 years. The company employs a team of 18.
Kahn Mechanical’s vision – dedication to the philosophy of honesty and fairness with customers and employees – guides the company, along with a set of values to operate by as a team. They are committed to the continuing education of their employees, encouraging them to complete 32 hours per year of training.
Service to the community is one of the values on which the company is based. The Community Services Foundation was formed as a vehicle to provide comfort to the elderly, disabled, and low-income homeowners in their community. It is the primary fundraising and visual presence of programs including Heat the Town of North Texas , HVAC systems for Habitat for Humanity, Beat the Heat of North Texas, and countless special projects.
Kahn Mechanical Contractors has been involved with trade associations since its inception, including service to ACCA at all levels. They believe in sharing their best practices and learning from others across the industry.
